The boarding kennel:

Our clean and spacious kennels feature indoor/outdoor kennels and runs. Cats board in a separate area.

We can usually accommodate your pet (s) reservation with one day's notice, but plan to call at least 30 days in advance for popular holidays such as school holidays and July 4th weekend. We keep a waiting list for times when the kennel is full. Kindly give 24 hour notice if you don't plan on keeping your reservation so we can offer the space to other interested parties.

Other boarding considerations:

Proof of current vaccination status is required. We will update your pet's vaccinations, if necessary.
Fleas, ticks or parasites will be treated, if found and the cost of treatment added to the boarding fee.
You may bring from home any regular medication your pet receives. A daily fee will be charged for its administration.
Rest assured that any illness during boarding will receive prompt treatment. Please leave emergency numbers and back up contacts for treatment authorization.
Please leave a phone number with the receptionist where you, or a designated responsible person, can be reached if needed.
Arrangements for baths or medical treatments can be arranged in advance to be completed while your pet is in our care.
Be cautious about bringing your pet's favorite toy or blanket, unless it can be easily replaced. Sometimes such items get lost or destroyed, despite our best efforts, and we cannot be responsible for their replacement.
Please be prepared to pay for services at the time you pick up your pet.

Canine influenza update: Vaccination for the canine influenza H3N8 virus is recommended for dogs visiting boarding kennels, day care, training classes or other places where contact with other dogs will occur. The initial vaccine is followed by a booster vaccine given in two to three weeks and then annually thereafter for dogs in the risk group. Vaccination for the canine influenza is recommended for dogs boarding at the Brighton Animal Hospital and boarding kennel.
